Luciene Holder was the youngest daughter of James and Olive Burnett. She had an older sister, Mary (May) Parris and two older brothers: James (Jimmy) Burnett and Lemuel (Lemmy) Burnett, all of whom have preceded her in death.

Luciene was a lady of faith who followed the Lord Jesus all the days of her life. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and was a Mezzo soprano singer. Luciene performed as the leading soloist at the Methodist Church and was the lead singer for the Gilbert Sullivan Opera at the University of the Virgin Islands. She was a loving daughter , sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. Luciene was also a woman of courage and strength. She did not go looking for trouble; however if it came her way she did not run from it, she faced it head on. Luciene was a lady with a big heart who made many sacrifices for her family whom she loved dearly.

Survivors: son Arthur Michael, daughter, Esther Holder-Rahman, granddaughter, Carolina Concepcion, grandsons: Christopher Michael, Ronny Paredes, and Maurice Rahman; daughter-in-law: Sonia Michael.
