Obituary for Mary Ann Crump

Mary Ann Crump was born on April 9, 1942. She was one of nine children born to the late Gladys and Tomel Flowers. She was raised on the Westside of San Antonio, Texas and received her formal education from Phyllis Wheatley High School in San Antonio, Texas. Mary Ann was united in holy matrimony to Jacque Gordon Crump on December 14, 1961 and to this union, they were blessed with three children.
Jacque preceded her in death on April 9, 1989.

Mary Ann loved the lord and raised her children in HIS name. The wife of a career military man, she traveled the world, with three children, for the first 18 years of their marriage. Mary Ann loved her family more than anything;being part of a large family, and as one of its pillars, she was the nucleus to anyone in the family. Some of her fondest memories were her children's childhood: parties with her sisters and gatherings at each others homes.

Two sisters, Sally Washington and Alice Brown, and brother, Herbert Flowers precede Mary Ann in death.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving children Jacqueline Crump, Tracy Blake (Cyril Jr.) both of San Antonio, Texas, and Darren Crump (Kenya) of Houston. Grandchildren Jason Crump (Kristien) of Houston, Jacques Crump-Peppar, Jerald Scott (Monesha), Mark Crump, Matthew Crump of San Antonio,
Lauren Blake of Houston, Cyril Blake III of San Antonio, and Madeline Crump of Houston.Great-Grandchildren; Jaiden Crump of Houston, and Aydian Williams of San Antonio. Her brothers Robert Flowers (Evelyn) of San Antonio, Frank Flowers of San Francisco CA, and Johnny Flowers of San Antonio, her sisters Dora "Dora Mae" Camper and Gladys Davis of San Antonio.
