Obituary for Anita Auguste

Anita White Auguste was born on August 31, 1951 in Panama Canal Zone. She graduated from Rainbow City High School in the Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. She then migrated to the U.S. and resided in Brooklyn, New York for many years and then moved with her family to San Antonio in 1994. Anita met her best friend and true love Aurelio Auguste in 1979 in New York and they got married on May 23, 1980. Anita was a daughter, mother, wife, sister, grandmother, auntie, cousin and friend whom we loved dearly. She was known most for her strong faith in God, her beautiful smile, her honesty and compassion, her gentleness, the spirit she showed to and for others, her ability to bring people together, her love for bargains and lets not forget her passion for garage sales on weekends and her immense love for others. Anita worked for HEB for the past 10 years and was loved by co-workers and customers alike. She always had a kind word and a big welcome smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin White, Ethel White; her brothers, Jaime White and Manuel ( Manny) White. Anita leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted husband Aurelio Auguste of 37 years, her daughter Giovanna Smith and Christine Carillo and her son Christian Auguste. Her grandchildren, Ashley, Tatiana, Michael and Chase. Her Brothers, Alonso White and Hernando White, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Anita dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a long standing member of Jubilee Outreach Church. Anita White Auguste may be gone physically, but never out of our hearts. We love you and miss you so much. But one thing we all know is that God loves you best.
